We are currently seeking a Software Tester to perform system level and subsystem level validation and verification on existing and new core products. Main duties include the creation and black box execution of manual Test Cases based on Use Cases, derived requirements lists, and development team meetings. Candidate must be able to adapt to rapidly changing business needs and to function in a disciplined/methodical manner while working in an increasingly structured and standardized environment.

Requirements:

• A minimum of two (2+) years of software/systems testing experience for consideration, prefer a minimum of four (4+) years of overall testing experience
• Good understanding of system design and debug processes to be able to report system problems
• Experience developing automated test cases and test scripts
• Knowledge and experience with Unix/Linux operating systems
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Must be a Team Player and require minimal supervision
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in a technical discipline preferred
• Software development background using C is a plus
• Hands-on experience with automated testing tools

Responsibilities:

• Create Functional and Regression test cases
• Develop, maintain, and upgrade test scripts
• Execute test case/test scripts and record actual performance versus expected behavior
• Analyze test case results and generated defect reports summarizing test systems behavior
• Provide technical guidance to junior team members
• Assist in the creation of Stress and Load test cases
