For over 20 years, CR Software has successfully provided the debt recovery industry with best-of-breed technology solutions to help increase profits from collections. Because our leadership has roots in the collections business, we know what it takes to be successful. Our software solutions are specifically designed for collections people, converging technology with a user-friendly design to help maximize productivity and impact the bottom line.

We currently support approximately 300 installations located across the United States and in Canada, the United Kingdom, St. Lucia, Botswana, Barbados, India and Mexico. Our customer list includes organizations with as few as four active users to companies that are publicly owned with as many as 7,000 concurrent workstations. We have users operating our software out of a single location and customers with multiple sites each operating independently, as well as clients with multiple locations linked to one central computer system.

Our Story

CR Software has its roots in the collections industry. The company was founded by Warren Dedrick in 1984. At that time he was the owner of a large collection agency and was dissatisfied with the existing collections software offerings. In typical Warren Dedrick fashion, he decided that if there wasn’t great software available then he would go out and built his own ... the right way and with all the right features that a collection entity needs. Since those humble beginnings the rest has been history as CR Software has vaulted to the forefront of the collections industry as a premier developer and provider of collections software. Warren subsequently sold his interests in the collection agency and went on to become one of the pioneers and largest debt buyers in the history of the industry. Due in no small part to Warren’s continuing commitment, CR Software has evolved together with the collections industry over the past 20-plus years.

Where We’re Going - Titanium ORE^TM
All companies have strategic plans, but CR Software is in the forefront of strategic planning when compared to any other collections software company. Several years ago, we could have "slapped together" a pretty point-and-click interface to "modernize" our legacy software - and by doing so could have been just like most every other software company in the industry. However, CR Software chose to do the "right thing" and re-engineered the entire architecture to make the most modern and functional collections software available on the market. Yes, it took time. ...and yes it cost a lot but it was also the right thing to do. No more concerns about security, scalability, data access, disaster recovery, or modernization posed by legacy software in general. Many organizations have looked at our Titanium ORE^TM product and commented that they have been waiting for a collections software company to finally engineer this type of software, and that CR Software is the first and only player in the collections industry to have invested the time, effort, and resources to do the "right thing" with collections software.

Who We Are
Virtually every current user of CR Software ® products and services and almost every prospective user comments on the level of CR Software involvement they see with their organization. It is not unusual to have our President, Edgars (Edz) Sturans, or CEO, Martin Germanis, call up to make sure an issue was resolved, or for a top executive to be actively involved in the sales process as a client is making their decisions. Interestingly enough, this level of involvement doesn’t go away when a prospect becomes a client. Just ask any current CR Software user.
